Terms and Conditions

I bet you are wondering what does this mean. What are the terms and conditions that apply to you to purchase machine embroidery designs from Sadia's Designs. Actually, they are very simple and just guidelines to help my customers.

Machine embroidery designs sold by Sadia's Designs are software and therefore require:

1). Computerized Embroidery machine

2). Software on your computer to read the design sent to you

3). Some form of transferable medium from the computer to your machine.

I do not provide any software to you for reading the design from the computer.Designs are either emailed to you in zipped files or they are sent via CD. Your computer must have an unzipping utitlity like Winzip to open the zipped files. CDs are not zipped but have designs in all stated formats on the design site.

Copyright Know-hows

The description below was written by Sadia Andrews for the Designers Site Owners Yahoo group members. Any digitizer may use the following wording on their website/copyright text notices provided credit is given to Sadia's Designs. Any duplication without credit and or mention of Sadia's Designs will be mentioned publicly here on this page. I do not mind helping other people but I do mind when others take my work and present it as their own without any thank you.

Many times, you would have  heard that the design you downloaded is copyright and may not be used for this or that. Here is an explanation of what you may do or not do with my copyright designs and what does "copyright" mean anyway.

1. You may stitch out my designs many many times (no limit) on:
a). items for yourself
b). items for sale      

2. You may NOT:
a). sell my design
b). edit my design so it is changed a bit, or a lot, and then sell it
c). share my design (email to a friend(s) who needs it)
d). trade my design (swap with others)
e). distribute my design (place it on a newslist, news group, private group, or private list)
f). use an editing program and take portions of my design to create another design
g). use my design as a template for creating another design
h). compile my design with others to create a CD for sale (on Yahoo,  private list, Ebay, etc)
i). resell it ( I no longer need it so why not sell it). By purchasing you have earned the ownership for life, you may not resell even if you no longer require it.

When you purchase designs from Sadia's Designs, you are only purchasing the license to stitch out the designs and not the actual design itself. That right is always maintained by me,Sadia Andrews, and is not transferable without permission.

The designs created on my website are my digitizing talents. They are my hard work products.  Since I created them, they are automatically copyrighted to me by the US and International laws in the year that I created them.  This is an automatic given right to me and unless otherwise proven, cannot be taken away. Please respect my right.
