“Marrakesh” is a collection of one color designs derived from the famous Al-Hambra Palace in Spain. Al-Hambra which means Red Castle or Fortress is a well known Moorish architecture castle known for its artwork. The designs in “Marrakesh” are my depiction of the artwork within the fortress. The collection has three parts. The geometric designs derived from the walls of Al-Hambra are represented in Part 1 of the collection. Part 2 represents the floral borders and vines which can be found on the walls and ceilings of Al-Hambra. Part 3 has the Moorish designs which later were known as Jacobean designs. All the designs are one color designs. The three parts are interchangeable and the designs can be combined to create beautiful large embroideries embellishing home décor and or garments. The designs can be used also on men’s clothings as well as children’s clothing. The ideas are endless. Each part can be purchased by itself or the whole collection can be purchased together. The designs cannot be purchased individually.I hope you enjoy using these designs as much as I enjoyed creating them. |
