“Jacobean” Art was a mixture of the Elizabethan and the Renaissance era where art took on a more free flowing effect. Colors used were vivid and plenty giving the arts a very rich look.“Jacobean Symphony” is my interpretation of the Jacobean arts with a bit of twists.
The designs come as cutwork and plain embroidery. The cutwork areas within the designs are created in such a manner that they could be used for applique. As the designs are extremely colorful, there are a few jumps within the designs. Some designs have been also made with frames to be used as appliqued patches. Plain frames are also included in the designs to allow you to create your own patches. The patches work wonderfully to embroider onto specialty fashion fabrics to be appliqued in the hoop on thick towels, jeans, jackets etc. Two types of applique for patches are created in the designs giving you the option of using either a dainty effect or a more bold effect. The designs are sort of openwork and work well with any type of light weight to medium weight fabrics. There are three sections in the collection: Cutwork, Patches and Embroidery. Cutwork collection has 21 files, Embroidery collection has 23 files and the Patches collection has 16 files making it a total of 60 files in the complete collection. The designs are varied for the 4x4 and the 5x7 hoop. The designs can only be purchased as a complete collection. One must have a 4x4 and a 5x7 hoop for stitching out the designs. I hope you will enjoy using these designs as much as I enjoyed creating them.
