Wish upon a star.....

I once wished upon a star, that my wishes would come true,
I was humbled when I realized that they had come through.

With that thought in my heart, I pass that star to you,
Hoping that all your wishes will also come true.

To thank all my friends from around the world, here is a collection of versatile freestanding lace designs, which can be used to create a large star (2 variations), or used to embellish wearable and home decor items. The designs are for the 4x4 hoop but can be merged together in your software.

Stitching out Star A
	1. Hoop water soluble stabilizer. 2. Stitch out design a four times. 3. Stitch out design b one time.
	4. Match the point of design a to the inside dip of design b.
	5. Using a 2.5-3.0 mm zigzag stitch and same thread (as used to stitch out the designs), join the two designs together.
	6. In the same way, join all four design a pieces to design b. Make sure to go beyond the tip of each of the design b petals.
	7. Rinse and lay on flat surface to dry completely before hanging.
Stitching out Star B
	1. Hoop water soluble stabilizer. 2. Stitch out four of design a.
	3. Hoop water soluble stabilizer and stitch out 1st thread color of design c. 4. Pin the points of the four stitched out design a, on each of the placement marks. (Make sure the pins are not in the path of the stitching).
	5. Stitch out the design. (Metallic threads can be used to stitch out design c to add holiday glitter). 6. Using the same thread that was used to stitch out design a, and using a zigzag stitch, join the corners of design a to each other. 7. Wash away the water soluble stabilizer and let dry, before hanging.
