This winebag project takes approximately one hour. I apologize for the blurriness of my pictures.

Holiday Wine bag with pocket

1.    From your fashion fabric, cut out: 5" diameter circle,  2 pieces measuring 15"x10",  one piece 22"x6" and  2 pieces 6"x6"	2. Select a design to embroider on the pocket part of your wine bag.  I used the Christmas snowflake design from my Christmas 1 collection and used a metallic thread.
3.   Stitch together two pieces 15"x10", sewing on the long side.	4.  Embroider your design on one of the 6" square pieces. Place the embroidered piece on top of the other 6" square piece (right sides together) and stitch on three sides only leaving the top side unstitched.
5. Turn the embroidered piece right side out. Now, turn  under 1/8" at the top opening and stitch it close. I do it this way so the underside of the embroidery won't be shown. You can omit step 4 and 5. But if you are using a see through fabric, then it would be nice not to see the stabilizer underneath.	6.  Stitch the pocket piece approximately in the center of one part of the 15"x10" piece. You can use matching thread and do top stitching or use your fancy stitches on the machine.
7. Stitch on the other side of the  15"x10" piece making it into a tube. 8. Taking the 5" circle, stitch it to the bottom side of the tube. I generally pin mine at four equal points of the circle and then gather in the rest of the tube in between the pinned points.	9.  Zigzag stitch on long side of the 22"x6" piece. On the other long side, join the 22"x6" piece to the top of the bag, right sides together. You will have one side of this piece left open, stitch it close. Now, flip this piece  inside the bag. 10. From the top seam, measure down approximately 3" and make a mark. Do this about an inch away from the side seams both on the front and back and both sides. Cut open a button hole like opening about an inch long. You can use fraycheck to stop the fraying if using satin or organza. My fabric was velour and I didn't need it.
11. With your sharp pointed scissors, cut out about an inch long hole in the marks you made in step 10. Now, you have four holes. You could zigzag around them if you like.	12. You are now finished with the sewing part and ready to put in the fashion cords.
13. Tack the folded part (22"x6" piece) just above the holes on the inside so it won't come out.	14. Insert one cord(rope) in one of the holes from the wrong  side of the bag. Now, insert it to the outside of the bag in the next hole. Take it in again from the next hole, finally taking it out again. Do the opposite with the other cord. Now, you can pull on the cords to tighen or open the bag. Insert your bottle and Voila your wine bag is ready!  In the pocket, you can insert a gift card if you like.
