Sadia, how nice that you were able to go home for a nice WARM visit.I know exactly what you mean. here in Indiana we are going through similar weather, we STILL don't have our little pool up & functional it has been too cold & rainy.

i just love your lessons & your lace. I have been looking through your designs dreaming of taking advantage of your sale .it just doesn't look like I will be able to this summer. My van was hit at night while I was at work in the client's home..I am a nurse... someone fell asleep at the wheel & totaled my sweet van that was nearly paid off {weep...sob... pout...} Anyway I just came here to read a little more about the awesome Lady who creates such beautiful Lace. thank you for sharing your awesome talents.
Joy, thank you so much for your comment. I'm not sure about the pattern but I will be sure to ask Hero about it on the Heirloom group. Hugs, Sadia

Dear Sadia,
I can almost give you a 100% promise that you will feel "at home" in Maryland before the summer is out. HOT, HUMID weather is common during July and August up there.

I lived in Maryland (Rockville) for over 20 years and know the summers well!!
I have now moved south and at least we have a breeze during the summer---something often lacking in Maryland summer heat waves.
Keep Cool....stay inside and sew!

You are such an inspiration and I love to read your blog. What pattern was used for the blouse? It is so elegant.
