Are you ready to be Green?

As in St. Paddy’s Day Green. I’m not green just yet, but I did manage to stitch out several lace shamrocks. All I need are a few pretty pins to jazz them up along with a wee bit of tiny yellow flowers and I’m all set to give as gifts to my friends. Years ago when I had created the Shamrock Lace collection, I had been surprised to find the versatility of it, not to mention the kudos from various Irish friends. Seems like there are several machine embroidery designs for St. Patrick’s day but not any freestanding lace designs.  The shamrock basket and doily that I had created with the designs has long been gifted to a dear Irish friend full of the tiny shamrocks, but it is a project I may make again….just to carry all my shamrock pins for friends. The image on the right is the freebie from the Shamrock Lace collection and if you are not green just yet…hop on over and stitch out several of the shamrocks to wear or give as gifts.
