Customer’s Niche…Dogwood/Wisteria
Somewhile back I had recieved pictures of a gorgeous shawl made by a dear friend. The way she used the designs was unbelievable and I had to share.

Unbelievably Gorgeous! Thank you Faith for such a lovely display and what an amazing creation. I just could not resist using Faith’s own words to describe the shawl.
I finally finished stitching my project using the Dogwood/Wisteria collection. This is a Native American dance shawl to commemorate the 20th Natchez Powwow at Natchez, Mississippi which takes place the last weekend of March. Our family has been attending this dance for 19 of the 20 years it has been held. The wisteria is usually in full bloom during the time we are there, so I knew your designs would be perfect.
The shawl is made from 2 yards of black wool and the fringe is applied individually and hand-tied. It took 19 hoopings to create the completed design. I took the liberty of dividing and rearranging some of the collection elements to get the effect I wanted. I hope you don’t mind.
It took about two weeks of actual work as I only have a ULT2003 to stitch on.(I’m hoping to get a PR600 some day) I found the designs to be a bit dense for something of this magnitude, but the end result is fabulous, I think. It looks exactly as I envisioned it when I purchased the designs. And I didn’t have to call you for help!!! Everything went together smoothly, a testament to your beautiful designs.
Faith, that is an awesome amount of work and love that went into its creation. Thank you so much for creating. I certainly do not mind your using the designs to portray your creativity, that is what is the most beautiful part of machine embroidery. I bet there were parts that were quite dense and even I am not cringing at hearing that because I know when I made my wall hanging and when I had to clip parts to make overlappings…Thank you again for sharing such a beautiful and touching piece of your life with us all.

Faith your commitment on the shawl was well worth the effort. It certainly is a eye
catcher and has such meaning for you. Thank you for sharing the wonderful pictures.
