Tidbits-4/6/2007

I believe I have a bit of breathing space now that two of my major shows are out of the way. Have tons to do otherwise and slowly catching up. Meanwhile, had a peek at what is going on in the world as my inbox was overflowing. One of the forwarded emails brought absolute fits of laughter…., posting pornography inside ME design files on a certain newsgroup. A word of warning however….it is not just a federal offence to post pornography, especially child pornography but also it crosses over into international borders. While trying to sabotage the pirates of ME, you may just as well be landing yourself in trouble as well.  Personally I have no respect for anyone who shares others IP but still there are boundaries that should not be crossed no matter how noble the thought behind it. That boundary of respect should always be there. Place images of just about anything but do not cross that boundary of respect by placing child pornography pictures inside, that will land you in more trouble than the pirates.

For those who frequent the newsgroups downloading, all I can say is “Shame on you”. If ever the tables were to be reversed I believe you would be the loudest person out there condemning the act. Taking away someone’s hard work and the monies that might have been there….that is the worst type of thief out there. Please take a moment to think about it. Saving up a few dollars at a time for that coveted design or designs will give you much more satisfaction that downloading someone’s hard work without paying for it. If you do not have the money…email the digitizer…make a deal…we are all humans and we can  understand. But, to take someone’s work without any renumeration is theft of the lowest form. To those who believe this will contiue for ever…think again. Times are changing….laws are changing and with them…ways of finding YOU the sharer are getting better every day. Justice will prevail.
