Anxious for Spring
I believe this is the worst winter that I have ever spent in Missouri. I cannot remember the last time when it was so cold and miserable with one weather condition after another. I carry the remnants of a cold that went into being bronchitis to almost pneumonia still today….the cold is from November of last year!
As I’m just about trying to get my head out from under tons of stuff, getting ready for the Original Sewing and Quilting Expo in Atlanta next week, I’m tired of seeing snow and sleet and wind….you get the gist. In everything I do, I’m determined to see the good side first and to work with it to the best possible….if you have lemons, make lemonade. What did I do? I started to create my own little Spring garden of pansies and roses!
The pixie like little flower is a favourite amongst many and what fun to create the same yourself when there is layers of snow and ice still outside. The flower is created all on the embroidery machine with its assembly done without the aid of any external devices(glue etc). If you noticed I changed the site image above from the winter pond scene to that of roses. The roses are also created on the embroidery machine requiring external help in the final assembly. Both the Lace Adventures collections will be released at the Original Sewing and Quilting Expo next week. If you are planning to come to the Expo, do look Carolyn and myself up and come and say Hi. Hope to see many friends there.

oooh I love pansies. Having been to the Expo so many times, I wasn’t planning on going this year but may have to change plans now. Very pretty. Can’t wait to get these. Anna
