Embird 2006 released

Embird 2006 was released today! Yay! For those who do not know what Embird is…it is an editing and managing software with capabilities to edit designs (resizing, recoloring) etc etc as well as to manage all ME designs whether it be creating your own catalog, etc. The list is really too long to write here. The software does have a thirty day free test trial period and can be downloaded at http://www.embird.com  There are many other sites that sell a bit lower than the Embird site ( $2 or $3 less) but the actual release of the passwords to register the software comes directly from the Balarads. The best thing about the new version is that those who want to test it out but do not know whether to uninstall Embird 2004 can now install the new version as well as maintain Embird 2004 at the same time on their computer. Since Embird 2006 can be installed in the C:Program Files/Embird32 folder rather than the C:/Embird32 folder it allows the user to have both, ofcourse only one can be used at a time. My advice to friends…take extreme precautions in noting the download size (especially if you are on dialup). Make sure the downloaded file size matches to the download size as noted on the website. If you want to maintain Embird 2004 and yet test out the new version, make sure the unzipped file is to the C:Program Files folder and not directly to the C drive. Make sure if you are downloading any of the plug-ins like Studio that you unzip those files to the C:Program Files/Embird32 folder and not directly to the C drive. This method will allow you to keep the previous version and yet be able to test the new version.  Have fun with it, it is an awesome software and at an awesome low  price.
