US Court ruling on Morpheus
Friends, just today I received a link from a friend regarding a US court ruling on Morpheus. Morpheus is a peer to peer file sharing software. Read more about it here: http://www.cbc.ca/technology/story/2006/09/28/tech-morpheus-060928.html
What does this mean as far as Intellect Property holders are concerned….well, for starters if the courts can hold software companies such as Morpheus as well as other agencies responsible for the distribution of IP, then perhaps there is a future for Machine Embroidery enthusiasts as well as any IP holder. A wonderful breakthrough, YES! As far as Canadian laws are concerned, eventually I perceive a change in them as well as the International laws in pertaining to IP.
