Fluid Fill-Machine Embroidery
I can hardly contain myself this morning…jumping up and down and soooo very excited. Why? LOL. Well, Embird Digitizing Studio gets better and better. The new beta version sent this morning has a FLUID FILL option. This type of stitch has been sought by me for ages and the only reason why I kept investing in several softwares. For those wondering about a fluid fill: well, a fluid contour fill is a running stitch which keeps to the shape of the object drawn. Depending upon the shape the contour fill can give depth to a portion of the design. It can further be used as a means to achieving the hand look satin stitch(long and short stitch-those of you that did hand embroidery would know this). The uses of this type of stitch are numerous. Unlike the other softwares which use the fill tools to create the stitch, EDS uses columns to create the effect which can be pretty dramatic, at least with what I tested so far. Another great addition to the software.
