ASG-National Conference 2006

Every Embroidery/sewing event has its own charm and memories. The ASG National Conference 2006 was a memorable one for me. Having never showed on the East coast it was a chance for me to visit and meet many friends in that area as well as showcase along with Carolyn from http://www.creativeneedlecraft.com whose talent in pattern making is astounding. Below are some of the pictures of the booth and some of our combined efforts at bringing to all friends the best in sewing patterns and machine embroidery designs.carolyn and myself

Was good to see your hierloon garments. I’ve done a “little bit” but time just seems to runaway from me. Such is life. They look really great. Thanks for showing them.

Response:

Hello Barbara, so good to see you online. I know exactly what you mean about time…but when you can would love to see your finished projects. HUGS, Sadia

Sadia,

Your talent never ceases to amaze me! Each creation is more beautiful than the last!

I haven’t attended a National ASG conference, but I am an ASG member and hope to go some day.

Thanks for sharing your photos.

Wish I could have seen all the lovely things; the dragon is so fascinating to me. What wonderful color and texture in it.

Response:

LOL, Chere, you never know I might see more friends hopefully soon. I’m setting up next year’s schedule and so far it seems like I will be travelling to more places where I have not been before and ofcourse a wonderful chance to see more friends. Thank you for your comment. The dragon is definitely something I am extremely proud of. And ofcourse to bring to the home embroiderer a chance to create something so large yet with no specific effort was a challenge and I am glad it worked out. HUGS, Sadia

sorry I don’t know what a uri is.

Loved to see the lovely things that you both had on display. I may never achieve a project that would equal them, but I try and have lots of fun.

Thanks for showing them.

Response:

Judy are you perhaps referring to a url? Url is the abbreviation for Uniform Resource Locator. It tells of the global address of the documents/resources available on the world wide net.

Thanks so much for your visit and your comments. Fun is the only part that counts and  that is what I enjoy the most. HUGS, Sadia

Sadia,

I always love to see your wonderful designs
and how you use them. Thank you for posting your pictures. They are so inspiring. I didn’t get to the ASG convention this year and it’s a good thing I didn’t plan to come as I broke my ankle 6/14 and am just now getting back to doing normal things. I did attend last year and met you and fell in love with your work. I recently ordered your new floral designs and am anxious to try them. Keep up the good work!

Response:

Mary Ann, I’m so sorry to hear about your ankle. Hope it is getting better now. Thank you for your comments. Would love to see how you use the Shaded Florals. HUGS, Sadia
